Entry forms for the Winter 2015/16 season BSSA Short Range Postal League are available on the Leagues page.
To be shot in f0ur classes:
CLASS X – National Classification, current and previous three years.
CLASS A – 97.0 over
CLASS B – 94.1 to 96.9
CLASS C – up to 94.0

Entries close 20th June 2015, late entries may be accepted if space permits.
The County Championships consist of Individual and Team Competitions at both Short Range (25yd) and Long Range (50m & 100yds) in 3 classes.
All classes will shoot at the same time, with the Short range championship commencing at 10:30am and the Long range championship commencing at 2:30pm. Either or both championships may be entered.
Team, Junior, Veterans and Super-Veterans competitions will be shot concurrent with the equivalent championship.
Course of fire will be:
40 shots at each distance for Classes A (Average 96.5 and over) & B (Average 94.6 to 96.4);
20 shots at each distance for Class C ( Average 94.5 and under).

Note: This is a Confined meeting, open only members of Affiliated Bedfordshire Clubs who reside in the County of Bedfordshire.

Entries are now open for the 25 yd Indoor Prone Rifle Match andAirgun Match. Both to be held at the Bedford (Clapham) range on the 24th/25th January.
The Prone Rifle Match consist of two details, each of 40 shots on NSRA 2510BM 1989 series targets – Aggregate ex 800. There will be a 50 minute break between details. Competitors are classified in four classes: BSSA ‘X’ class is made up of shooters in & previously in X Class within the past 3 years, a Nationally Classified ‘X’ Class competitors will be placed in Class ‘X’; all other competitors will be placed in three equal classes as far as possible, according to submitted average. All competitors other than ‘X’ Class are required to submit an average based on the best 5 of the last 6 indoor scores. Further details may be found here and the entry form may be downloaded here.
The Airgun match is in two competitions, one for rifle the other for pistol. The course of fire for both competitions is 60 shots. ISSF rules will be observed. The entry form may be downloaded here. Details and firing points will be allocated on a first come first served basis and will only be confirmed once the entry fee has been paid. In previous years details have filled up quickly so get your entries in early to secure your place.

VENUE: Thorn Range, is situated 2 miles north of Dunstable just off the A5. Please
contact us if you need directions.
SQUADDING: All competitors will be squadded. The first squad will commence prompt at
10.00 am (Range will be open by 9.00 am). Each detail will be 30 minutes, 20 minutes for
shooting and 10 minutes for target changing. Squadding details will be emailed to each
competitor. Postal squadding notice can be given, if stamped address envelope is
enclosed with entry form.
RANGE COMMITTEE: All disputes shall be referred to the Range Committee and any 3 of
whom shall form a quorum.
TARGETS: N.S.R.A. 1989 series 50 metre & 100 yard targets will be used.
