A warm, pleasant day for the competitors, with the temperature hovering in the mid-20s; much more pleasant than the 30°C that had been forecast a few days before. However, the cooler temperature was the consequence of a stiff breeze, which provided a challenge for the competitors. The overall scores were slightly lower than recorded last year and there were no ‘possibles’ scored.
